2011 Art and Earth Celebration

We Celebrated Mother Earth, Even in the Rain!

Thank you Rocky Ridge Nursery, the Master Gardeners, and Richard Zimmerman for making the tree planting happen!

The artists of ArtBerkeley would like to extend a special thank you to everyone who braved the inclement weather during our Art & Earth Celebration.

A tree's new home! Left to right - Richard Zimmerman, Clark Dixon, Buzz Poland, and Paul Berryhill.	The Opequen Creek Project Team educated everyone about rain barrels while Mother Nature provided the rain.
Jocelynne Lowans came prepared with a warm blanket and beautiful jewelry.	The Martinsburg high school ecology club helped everyone explore their creative side.
Attendees were treated to a hands-on experience thanks to Reptile Wonders.	Sun Yoga offered helpful information and a free yoga demonstration.
Western Masters Karate provided a demonstration and information to the public.	The Martinsburg Recycling Truck was on hand to receive recyclables. Thank you, guys!
Volunteers from Prevent SIDs offered kids a rainy day activity.	Papa John's kept everyone well fed and donated pizza to the Recycled Costume Contest winners!
